When someone says "I want to go viral" it's a big red flag that they need some help in clarifying objectives and understanding that online marketing is more about what you do every day rather than achieving viral status.
It is important, therefore, to have a plan and execute it on a regular basis. Swinging for the fences is fine every once in a while, but it's what you do consistently that counts.
Break it down by quarter, month and day...
Work backwards from your objectives and then determine what type of content you will be sharing (blogs, video, infographics, call to action), how often and where you will be sharing it.
3.) No Back End System
People need to know, like and trust you before they choose to hire or do business with you. You need to touch them 7-10 times before making a sale (hence the beauty of social media. It's a constant conversation and opportunity to stay top of mind).
Putting thought and systems in place will increase your results dramatically.
