Whenever I teach a class or speak at an event regarding making a bigger impact online, inevitably the question comes up … “What do I have to say that people want to hear about?” or “I could NEVER do that!”
In answer to the first question … more than you think … and to the second … yes you can, you just need to break it down.
Always (I like to stay away from the words never and always as they both are rarely accurate, but in this case “always” is.) start with the thought “How can I lend value?”
Ask yourself “Is my selfie adding value?” Ummmm, probably not. “Is my negative commentary adding value?” That depends on your overall objective, but in all likelihood, nope.
Then what do you have to share, in terms of experience, that could be helpful to another person?
Here are a few thought starters, which can be turned into articles or posts that you can share on the platform where it will be of most value.
And a baby step to get you going...
Share someone else’s helpful information (articles, posts) with a few sentences as to your take on it.
Never grab someone else’s content and claim it as your own as that’s a big no, no. But know that by sharing a post from someone else, may get seen by that person and it will be appreciated. It’s a way to open a door between the two of you.

Never stop learning on how to become better.
Don’t compare yourself to others.
Don’t procrastinate, get started.
Don’t be afraid to share.
Be authentically you.
Improve over time.
Is it going to take time? Yes, it is. Is this a path to overnight success and mass riches? No, it is not.
This is a way to leave a trail of breadcrumbs as to the areas in which you lend value. By doing so, you eventually create an inbound sales funnel bringing new clients and opportunities to you...which is a really beautiful thing.
