Collect and showcase your testimonials from current and past customers on your web page, in your Newsletter pieces, via Social Media etc. People love to hear that you are not the only one singing your praises. If possible, include pictures, titles, cities, states and names of businesses (if appropriate) in order to lend additional visual appeal and credibility.
Build your following via Social Media. Hire an expert to help you with this or take the time to educate yourself as to how to build an audience that lends to your credibility. Generating conversation and engagement with your audience gives you and incredibly impressive on line presence, and in today’s business climate it is critical to look good throughout the interweb. This will also go a long way towards building a Tribe of raving fans who know, like and trust you. It will give you momentum and broaden the platform with which you have to stand upon and you share your message.
Reach out to your network via LinkedIn and ask for recommendations. You should do this from past employers, co-workers, bosses, team members, people you may have done contract work for, clients, organizations where you've volunteered etc. once again, this validates your credibility and helps to build trust.
Step up your game in terms of writing to share valuable information and promote your business, products or services. Kick out a few additional blogs above and beyond what you normally do. Maybe play around with recording information for your followers via video then upload to all your Social Media sites...bottom line...step up your game and get seen.
Start connecting with those top-notch prospective clients or hire someone to handle some of the day-to-day paper pushing that you really no longer have time to do if you are serious about taking things to the next level. Both of these activities show the world that you are determined to up level, you are no longer interested in playing small and that you are positioning yourself to play big...whatever it takes!
