When you click “Write an article” you are taken to the back end of Pulse where you can add your copy, headline, and graphic (which you’ve prepared beforehand). To close, you will be prompted to add hashtags in order for the piece to be easily found by people who are looking for that particular subject matter.
Search and follow individuals and companies that you can learn from or can be of service to. Use the search bar on LinkedIn to search companies, individuals, groups, jobs, posts and more.
Stay on top of industry news, conversations and events: By participating in LinkedIn Groups you can observe, contribute and learn. You are also able to message anyone else in that group, even if you aren’t connected.
Remember you are on a forum where the vast majority of individuals participating are interested in growing themselves and their businesses. LinkedIn is not a place for political rants, selfies or cat videos.
It’s also NOT the place for spammy outreach.
It’s a place to share helpful information, make great connections, learn, build and grow your opportunities while providing value to others. So jump in and share your wealth, you may be rewarded in a number of unanticipated ways as a result.
