If you are looking for fast, easy and cost effective ways to get your blog in front of the people interested in seeing it and you want to make an impact right now, then take a look at and start implementing these 10 ways your blog can rule the internet…starting today!

1. Be sure to include a link to your blog on all your social media profiles and within your email signature

Make sure you include your blog URL in the “about me” section on all you profiles. Go in to edit your profile and add it in the Summary, About Me or Description section - depending on the platform you are using. Also add your various Social Media direct links as well as blog URL to your email signature. Make it as easy as possible for people to find you.

2. Schedule Tweets to drive traffic to blog posts

Tweeting out a link is a great way to notify your social media audience of a new blog post. You can use bitly to shorten the link that leads back to your blog, and then Tweet out snippets from the posts to inform, capture attention then lead people back to your blog page.

3. Schedule Facebook posts

Create great graphics (choose and image, then text over the title of your piece) for your blog posts using a program like Canva, and then post it to your personal profile or business Page or both. For additional views boost or advertise the post.

4. Highlight blog content in Pins

Pinterest is often overlooked by marketers when it comes to promoting written content, but Pins can function similarly to a header image for your blog post: they are a visual element that attracts readers to the value of the written content. You can also create separate Pin Boards for commonly discussed topics on your blog: for example, Health, Fitness, Stress Reduction etc.

5. Share blog content in LinkedIn groups

LinkedIn publisher offers its own platform to host written content. LinkedIn also offers Pulse, which is a feed that enables more visibility for your posts. If a LinkedIn Editor picks up one of your posts, then you can increase your visibility exponentially via the LinkedIn network. Be sure to include links to the original source—your blog—at end of the copy.

6. Enable “Email This Post”

If you use “Email This Post” on your blog, people will be able to forward your posts to friends. This might not have an immediate impact on your site stats, but it enables others to publicize your blog for you.

7. Turn on your site feed

When people subscribe to your site feed in their newsreaders, they're more likely to read your posts.

8. Think of your audience

A good way to build an audience is to speak to one in particular. When you keep your audience in mind, your writing gains focus. Focus goes a long way toward repeat visitors.

9. Use  AWeber

AWeber will help you build your email list, send out Newsletters and promote your blog. They offer a 30-day free trial.

10. Use Google Analytics to monitor your blog traffic and set goals for building and developing targeted traffic.

Pick two to three of these to put in place today, then work towards getting all of them complete within the next few weeks. A good outreach structure, as outlined above, along with consistent content creation will place you on your way to dominating your niche.
