These Are The Three Things You Need To Be Doing To Actually Meet And Exceed Your Goals

How much time do you spend each day doing things that are not moving you forward towards your goals and ultimate objectives?


Things like checking email constantly, attending meetings that are time wasters, organizing paperwork for the third time, getting lost in newsfeeds and time sucking activities online?


What should you be spending your time on, in order to achieve the goals you’ve set for yourself?


Do you need X number of new clients?
Do you need to expand your business into a new geographic area?
Do you need to develop some new skills?
Do you need to finally get fit so that you have the energy to keep up?



It's easy to be busy and live in a constant state of  overwhelm. It's much harder to be disciplined and to squeeze every ounce out of every minute of every day.


But until you learn that there is freedom in discipline you will wind up spinning your wheels and wonder why 12 months from now you're in a very similar situation you find yourself in today.


So how do you break the cycle and start taking action that gets results?


First of all take a step back and determine the top three things you need to be doing every day in order to move yourself in the direction that you want to be going.


How much will how much would it change your life if you lost 20 pounds or secured 10 new clients, a new position or increased your income by 25 to 50 percent?


DECIDE the goal that will make the biggest impact on your life overall and determine daily actions that will get you there.


The bottom line is we all have the same 24 hours a day if you need to create more time you can get up earlier, cut down on screen time or choose to devote an additional couple of hours towards the achievement of your goal in the evening after all of your obligations with family have been taken care of.


To carve out time is a choice, to follow through is a choice.


There's a common fallacy in our society that people who have achieved much have come about it easily or all at once.


Nothing could be further from the truth.


Consistent effort makes it happen and here’s what’s great about that.



You don’t have to be perfect.
You don’t have to know all the answers.
You can slip up, then get back on track without being a failure.
You can do this!




So if you find yourself frustrated because you've not been making the gains toward your goals that you feel you should be, you’ve got to take a look at the hard truth about why you aren't, and then focus on the solution ... which is to create the time and take the action day in and day out.

  2. Schedule
  3. Act
