In our culture we are often lead to believe that if we do certain things, like get that degree, find "the one", buy your dream house, land that dream job...etc. that we will be fulfilled, happy...life will be in perfect alignment and we will live in a state of complete joy.
If you've been on the planet for any period of time, you've likely discovered that the above scenarios are, in fact a complete fallacy.
If there is any constant in life it is change.
Times change, people change, trends change, messaging changes --- which determines what society deems acceptable. At one point it was acceptable, even fashionable to smoke cigarettes and get drunk at parties. You were "the life of the party, funny, entertaining"... now? Well, not so much.
You may be going through a change with regard to the loss of a job, relationship, marriage or loved one. Know that as you pass through each of these challenges in life that you too will change.
You can choose to become fearful, resentful and bitter or you can allow it to open your heart and mind to possibilities that you did not see before.
